The Office of Sustainability is thrilled to announce that the University of Florida is an official Host Institution of the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Educations (AASHE) annual 2022 Global Conference on Sustainability in Higher Education (GCSHE)!

During this three-day event, you will have the chance to explore live interactive sessions, tune in to captivating keynote presentations, and engage in networking opportunities with thousands of other sustainability professionals and campus-change agents. Don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity for personal and career growth!

Not sure if you can commit to attending the entire event? No worries. The unique conference format features live sessions on three separate days PLUS on-demand access to all sessions through the end of 2022.

The Urgency of Now!

The 2022 Global Conference on Sustainability in Higher Education theme is “The Urgency of Now!” The theme, inspired by the words of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., is “a clarion call for transformative sustainability solutions that match the speed and scale of the challenges we face”.

Register for the Virtual Conference

As a Host Institution, we only have 100 free registration passes for our campus. If you are interested, please sign up now – send an email to Liz Storn at info@sustainability.ufl.edu to get the instructions for registration. 

Per AASHE requirements, free registration is open to currently enrolled students and currently employed staff and faculty. Alumni and professors emeriti are not eligible.

The final registration deadline for the event is November 3, 2022, at 11:59 pm ET.
