With a theme of “The future is …”, this year’s Global Conference on Sustainability in Higher Education reflects the uncertainty about the future that many feel and invites participants to recommit themselves to the urgent work of building a future that is sustainable, equitable, and resilient. Much of the conference will highlight leaders, practitioners and higher education institutions that empower us to envision and create such a future.

Attendees will have the opportunity to follow several session “tracks” throughout the conference including Teaching & Learning, Culture & Communications and Campus Operations.

Keynote speakers

Every year, AASHE brings together thought leaders, experts and practitioners for the series of keynote speakers. Learn more about the speakers below!

“Even in the virtual realm, AASHE has organized a conference experience that offers a wealth of inspiring speakers, connections and resources, and we are looking forward to the opportunity to explore the future of sustainability in higher education with the entire UF community.”

– Matt Williams, Director of the UF Office of Sustainability
