Campus Earth Day 2016

The UF Office of Sustainability will be hosting the 2016 Campus Earth Day Celebration on Wednesday, April 6 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm on the Plaza of the Americas. This annual event will include interactive displays, a tabling and activity fair, the State of Sustainability address, the Champions for Change Awards and the Greek Eco Challenge Awards.
Featured activities at the tabling fair include a clothing swap, recycled art displays, games, upcycled crafts, interactive demonstrations, giveaways, and more!
Additionally, this year we will be hosting a concurrent series of symposium sessions taking place concurrently in Smathers 100:
- 10:00 am – Green Tips for Renters and Owners
- 12:30 pm – Voluntary Carbon Offset Program – Information for Faculty and Staff
- 1:00 pm – Composting for Home or Business
- 1:30 pm – Bike Commuting and Cycling Resources
- 2:30 pm – Student Organization Networking Session
