Jillian Peters - Intern Fall 2007 and Spring 2007
Jillian is a third-year political science major with a
focus on developing nations and social and environmental responsibility.
Her project with the Office of Sustainability centers on integrating
more sustainable technology into on-campus fraternity and sorority
houses, as
well as raising awareness on campus of sustainable alternatives
to the
status quo. Eventually, she hopes to study sustainable enterprise
and its potential role in changing the world. Working for the
office provides her
with the invaluable experience of collaborating with diverse
groups of stakeholders to achieve a common goal of implementing
sustainable practices
onto the UF campus.
