Daniel McKeague - Intern Fall 2006
Dan is a senior majoring in Natural Resource Conservation
and with a minor in Agricultural and Natural Resource Ethics and Policy.
His main interests are public land management and sustainable planning
and development. His work within the office included the development of
a Sustainable Event Planning Guide and listserv management. His experience
with sustainability also includes sustainable ecotourism coursework, employment
in recreation, and a position as the Vice President of Gators for a Sustainable
Campus. His experience in the office has helped him discover interests
in sustainability within the planning field. He plans to pursue a master’s
degree in Urban and Regional Planning (Environmental Track). As an urban
planner, he hopes to expand our knowledge on building better communities
and challenge our current system with sustainable alternatives.
