Susie Lewis – Intern Fall 2006
Susie is an advertising major with a minor in nonprofit
organization and an outside concentration in business. Her work with the
Office of Sustainability includes planning, editing and writing for the
sustainability e-newsletter. Her other involvements with sustainability
include an internship with the Powell Center for Construction and Environment,
where she helped organize an international conference on green building
and a community art festival supporting the green renovation of an African
American music hall, and serving as the advertising chair for Gators for
a Sustainable Campus. She plans to attend graduate school in the near future
and hopes to incorporate sustainability into her other areas of interest,
such as teaching and traveling.
