Alison Erlenbach - Intern Fall 2007, Spring 2007, and Fall 2006
Alison is a third-year economics major with minors in business and environmental studies. She is president of Gators for a Sustainable Campus and is currently working on reducing carbon dioxide emissions on UF's campus through fellowship with the National Wildlife Federation. She is currently doing research on the economic determinants of carbon emissions for the University Scholars Program, and has completed research for the U.S. Department of Energy on how climate change will affect future energy consumption. She is interested in the economic side of sustainability and how our economy can be transformed and reworked to create a more sustainable society, while still maintaining or improving our quality of life. She hopes to attend graduate school to study climate change and is laying the foundation for a career in environmental policy.
