Service, Outreach and Extension
As a land grant university, UF is committed to providing scientific knowledge and expertise to the public. As part of this mission, UF IFAS Solutions For Your Life shares lessons and research in sustainability with all Florida citizens. A few of the outreach programs that focus on sustainability are the Program for Resource Efficient Communities, the Florida Yards and Neighborhoods Program, and the Bushnell Center for Urban Sustainability.
Living Green is a new television program and companion website that focuses on how communities incorporate environmental concerns into their homes, neighborhoods, and businesses to help conserve natural resources and wildlife for future generations.
