Climate Action

UF became one of the first universities to sign onto the President’s Climate Commitment in 2006 under President Machen. Prior to and following this significant moment, staff and faculty from across UF have collaborated to reach goals described in UF’s 1st Climate Action Plan (v1.0) from 2009, as well as develop the ongoing initiatives that contribute to future climate action in UF CAP 2.0 and beyond.
